Memphis, TN (July 26, 2018) — A S Hospitality is pleased to announce that it has once again been certified by The Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) as a Women’s Business Enterprise. A S Hospitality, a leader in brand delivery across channels such as print production, marketing, product development, and custom technology services, first obtained the prestigious certification in 2014. The certificate was awarded by Women’s Business Enterprise Council South, a regional certifying partner of WBENC.

“We are excited to be certified as a woman-owned enterprise. Through our involvement with the WBENC, we hope to accomplish some ambitious goals for our clients and for A S Hospitality, as well as expand our commitment to help foster diversity.”
– A S Hospitality Owner and Chairperson, Glenda Burkhart.

The WBENC certification is important for A S Hospitality, supporting its commitment to strengthening its diversity programs and ensuring funds spent for print, fulfillment and marketing programs are counted towards supplier diversity initiatives.

The WBENC is a leading advocate for women business owners and entrepreneurs, and is committed to bringing consumer recognition to Women Owned businesses. Among the criteria for certification is that the business is to be owned, operated and controlled at least 51% by an individual woman or group of women. This certification is accepted as the standard for some of America’s most prestigious brands, representing more than 1,000 corporations.

“Women Business Enterprises are agile, innovative problem-solvers, meeting corporations’ needs quickly, adapting to marketplace changes and providing deep value and cost-effectiveness.”
– Pamela Prince-Eason, President and CEO of WBENC
